My aft windows have 1" bond top and bottom and about 0.6" bond for/ aft.
The internal glass combined with the hysol plexi to e-glass bond has
managed to hold together for 450 hours.  You might confirm with Lancair
your plan.  If there is perhaps some fuselage strength through the
window issue they'd be able to let you know. Otherwise, I'd imagine you
would be fine.
