Crain" : Thanks Richard, Yes, did compass swing on Monday, and pulled 33 degree error on North back to 1 degree, and East error is at 6 degrees. However, the quadrantal errors still exist up to 9 degrees on some headings particularly SE/NW. Will be doing another swing next week to trim it up if possible. But I am still interested to hear from anyone who might have installed the SIRS compasses and how the errors are on them. Make sure that there are no ferrous sources of interference. My vertical card (PAI-700) performed well unless I was in a diving spiral (voluntarily) when it would "catch" and eventually release. < < <
