Our group price is $875.00, not $1400.00 as mentioned the email from Greg below, and no need for the $195 adapter, unless you have a filter height problem, see item #5 below (less hoses, you must provide them). You will find details below on what is to be thought of, keep in mind that this system is FAA CERTIFIED for the IO-550. Here's what you need to think about: 1) There is a pickup port at the back of the IO-550N with a drain plug (exactly the same size) just like the oil drain plug. This plug unscrews aft with the horizontal axis of the engine. That is where we will pickup the oil. Your choice of three fittings will come with the system, a straight fitting, a 90 degree angle fitting with a rotating banjo to control which direction you have to go, or a 75 degree angle with the same type rotating banjo fitting. I will choose the 75 degree fitting since that will give me that best choices of plumbing the system. 2) The system does come with a check valve so no worries about in flight loss. 3) As you look at the pump, you need to specify either a left or right inlet for the oil, see www.oilamatic.com 4) No hoses come with the system, you need to provide same 5) The system requires you to take off the oil filter and screw on an adapter (included in the purchase), then screw the filter back on. This will raise your filter one inch. If you think you may have a vertical problem, you can use the short oil filter, or purchase (from oilamatic) a certified adapter the same exact size as the one that came with your engine with the built in ports for the pre-oiler. I don't think the vertical height should be a problem for any of us. 6) The pump will come direct wired for the switch (20Amp, supplied with the system) with a terminal block on the pump and a diode. All you have to provide is the 14ga wire from the pump to the switch. 7) Each of us can order, AFTER I GET THE DEAL DONE AND TELL GEORGE WHO ALL THE "GROUP PURCHASE" FOLKS ARE, figure $20.00 for shipping, and we can pay separately with credit card, etc. 8) The pump we will use is the 2100A or the 2110 (depending upon right or left in item # 3 above, I will tell you which is which in the final email), system weight is 6.3 pounds, and it flows 1.2 gallons of oil per minute. So, anyone else interested get back to me offline by December 4th. I'll be away from my email from today until the 5th of December. Happy Turkey day to ya'll, Ron
