I think the reason for the factory delay is the issue with
OD on the aluminum tubing won't let it pass the shaft, they
are looking for a die to correct that problem. The tolerance on the SS must
be better because I had no
problem particularly when I used the hinge wire as a
guide. Another reason I used SS was my concern that
in forcing the tube around the bend at the bottom of the
gear leg the tube would out of shape and not go past the
shaft after talking with Hal Woodruff, he convinced me
the SS would retain straighter posture.
    The thinking behind attaching to the wheel/brake
assemble first was I could make the tool slid over the
end and back off if the tube comes in from the top there
will need to be a slot cut in the side of the tool to get it around the
tube.
