FROM - Ted Stanley
I''ve flown the NYC metro area for 20 years. Things change. Here are some
options with links below to info about public transportation.
LGA - expensive and close to the city
TEB - expensive but not as bad as LGA, you can wait outdoors at a bus stop
near Jet Aviation which takes you to Penn Station in about 15 minutes but
you'll need a ride from Jet (or any other FBO) to the bus stop.
MMU - still expensive but probably less than LGA or TEB. Signature can
provide transportation to the train which goes to Penn Station (someone
previously posted this info)
HPN - probably about the same cost as MMU (suggest WestAir or Panorama for
FBOs). Again FBO or taxi cab ride to the train.
BDR - Bridgeport CT - I like this the best. Low cost, little airtraffic,
lots of parking, etc. Suggest you use Atlantic Aviation. From Atlantic it's
a 5 minute (literally) cab ride to the train which is then about 80 minutes
to Grand Central Station.
