Why not? Well, yes it is expensive and you may still need an arrival slot
before the meter ticks over in big numbers...daily.  Taxiing for the
unfamiliar pilot-- progressive instructions and all--redefines the word
"challenge".  After all that, Signature may not have room for you on their
apron. Getting out can be quite a number, too.  Another slot, more taxiing
and lots of leisure time waiting to taxi, waiting to depart, and vectoring
around the 3-airport Class B arrival corridor. That would be enough "Why
nots for me".  In other words, for GA aircraft, I'd stick with one of the NJ
airports.

PS if, as suggested in another posting, you can get from Danbury, CT to New
York City in half an hour you may not even need a Lancair!
