I had a lot of trouble with the original brakes on my LNC360MKII until I replaced them with "Grove" brakes.  They make all the difference in the world.  I don't know what the IVP has but if it anything like the 360 replacement may be a good solution.  Talk to Grove 1-619-562-1268 and see what they have for the IVP.

Good luck
Ray

I just talked to Robbie Grove at the above telephone number. His web sight is: http://www.groveaircraft.com/wbproducts.html.

I have a problem with either my cast aluminum gear legs or my axles which are slightly bend from hard landings or just plain old wear. My plane has over 800 hours of flight time.

Robbie says that he has seen the Matco type axles worn from the bearings spinning  on the axle when the wheel is not installed tightly enough. He makes wheels and brakes for both the original and outback type of gear. I think that  this will be an upgrade that I am going to make.
