Something that I was investigating a while back is, what happens when you
reinforce glass skin with carbon. What I concluded was say for example, if
you were to do the anti flutter reinforcement to the LCN2  from the tail
forward as has been recomended. And If you use E glass,  you would have the
same modulus. But if you were to use a carbon  lay-up, the stiffness and
modulus of the carbon is different. If the carbon fails then you are already
above the load of the E glass. Because the carbon is carrying all of the
load and the glass has been exceeded. Do any of you have any thoughts on
this?
