D,
I'm designing a Ram Air system for an injected 360 using a very low
restriction Kand N automotive racing filter , and am considering the problem
of filter icing/need for alternate air. Please tell me more re, "Ram Air in
icing conditions would be a very bad idea". There's carb heat for a
carbureted engine, what about injected? Will you share your ideas about
"filtered pseudo ram air"?
Denny
Air in icing conditions would be a very bad idea. I'm sure you could
fabricate a 'filtered pseudo ram air' without too much loss of
performance, and would require no pilot action.
