I believe that Jim Weir http://www.rst-engr.com has a neat solution using a
foil antenna bonded to the inside of the hull. There are several primers on
his site regarding antenna design and selection. There is a foil antenna
kit that is sold for a reasonable price. Other than being a fan for years
and collecting/sharing odd bits of information that come in handy from time
to time, I have no affiliation with Jim.
