I'm trying to = keep the long, whippy things sticking outside to a minimum, and am = contemplating a "lollipop" type, similar to the transponder antennas, on = top of the empennage. Can't figure any way to cram it in a wingtip, and = besides, if the ELT is really needed, the odds of the wingtip still = being in close proximity to the tail are maybe not so good. Ideas? What are you Legacy builders doing = about the=20 ELT antenna?
