I'm trying to = keep the long, whippy things sticking outside to a minimum, and am = contemplating a "lollipop" type, similar to the transponder antennas, on = top of the empennage. Can't figure any way to cram it in a wingtip, and = besides, if the ELT is really needed, the odds of the wingtip still = being in close proximity to the tail are maybe not so good. Ideas? What are you Legacy builders doing = about the=20 ELT antenna?  I'm trying to keep the long, whippy things sticking = outside=20 to a minimum, and am contemplating a "lollipop" type, similar to the = transponder=20 antennas, on top of the empennage.  Can't figure any way to cram it = in a=20 wingtip, and besides, if the ELT is really needed, the odds of the = wingtip still=20 being in close proximity to the tail are maybe not so good.
