Too bad,  Sorry the only  other suggestions I have would be to run a PVC
pipe or other tube through the fuel bay.  Kind of difficult to install and
maintain -  also might be tough to make it a dry space.  Other alternative
is to give up the gas bay to provide enough space.  Earlier models had 85
gal, then 95 gal usable fuel and considered that to be good.
