Harmon has been flying one of the original EFIS/One units for about a year now...There is not a whole lot of info here except that it is working fine. There are pictures of his RV and of his panel on the BMA website. I'm sure he wouldn't mind entertaining questions on his experiences with the Blue Mountain EFIS...His email is harmon@langair.com **************************************************************************** ************************************************************** Dear Brian: You haven't heard much from me because I've been too busy flying. It will be one year next month that I first flew the RV-8A, and the hobbs is at 212 hrs. Trip to Golden West, OSH. included. The BMA EFIS/One is working just fine. There was a glitch with the first version, but that was fixed after a few hrs. I also had a cable come loose, but that was my fault. I have no info on how many are actually flying. The one thing that I need to address is that the system can not be on while cranking the engine. This results in the engine running for a short time before I get the oil pressure reading. An alternate source for this would be good. You can post this as needed. Harmon Lange --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
