Both planes fueled and weighted with ballast so the weigh exactly the same. We can do the test in Vegas because the Winter weather is better here. The same pilot will fly both planes. I think Dave Morss is the pilot of choice. Task 1: Take off distance @ 310 HP if the factory plane cane make that at 2,000 ft. If not we will pull back the power on our plane. Take off roll with both planes @ full power, full RPM (I will not use ADI during this duel). Task 2: Climb to 12,000 ft at Normalized power or full throttle and 2700 RPM 160 KTS Climb to 12,000 ft full power Task 3: Level flight 2 cruise power Normalized @ 2500 RPM 8K,10K, and the now famous 12K ft. 50 deg ROP and LOP High speed full power 2,800 RPM 8K, 10K and 12K 2800 RPM Task 4: Now let's go to cruise power 14K and 16K Normalized or full throttle @ 2500 RPM, 50 deg ROP & LOP. Top speed @ 1`4K and 16K, Full power as fast as you can go. During all test we will monitor all MAP, Fuel Flow, RPM and Temps and flight performances. That is only fair, I have to give Josh and Tim something to win. I think he gets better gas mileage. Josh and Tim, if you have any other flight parameters other than how slow can you go add them to the list. It is time to put up or _______. We will post all numbers on this site. This will be fun, Rick Schrameck Legacy 123 Supercharged and glad of it
