Craig,
For the cable guide, I could not use the factory supplied part so I ordered
4 ft of 1/4"X.035 wall stainless tubing from Wickes and used a tubing bender
to follow the template that I had made with the coat hangar.  Where the
guide passes thru the fuselage, I wrapped the guide with 2 bid of eglass as
a precaution against any kind of corrosion between the SS tubing and the
carbon of the fuselage.   I did not use a flox hardpoint where the clamp
attaches to the fuselage. I don't know if this is right or wrong, did not
seem to be that much stress on the clamp.  Do what you feel most comfortable
with.
Craig

Thanks for the great photos and info.
Did you use the 1/4" aluminum tubing that came with the kit or did you use
a
different kind of tubing?  I also noticed in the photo that you clamped to
the fuselage - did you make a flox hardpoint?
