Capt. D: On 11 Aug.2003. I wrote " Also discovered the local
Parker distributor had a new reservoir in stock. The latest version
attaches to the pump with four screws through the tabs on the pump
casting, no longer has the bolt going up through the bottom. The biggest
surprise was that the new one cost only $13, including state tax! I
still can't believe that."
My old reservoir did have the screw through the bottom. With the new
style you'll never have to worry about the o-ring leaking there. But
make sure you have the four tabs on your pump casting.
Oildyne is a division of Parker so you can check with your local
Parker dealer. If you don't know who that might be, call 1-800-272-7537
between 7am and 6:30pm EST, Monday through Friday, or 7-12 EST Saturday
and they'll tell you who is the distributer in your area.
Hope this helps.
