I thought about removing the magnets, but (again, I'm no electronics
expert!) it occurred to me that these little guys were designed with the
idea that there would be a strong magnet in the base, and I'm wondering
what effect on the functionality there might be with the magnet removed.
Can any electronics guru out there assure us we aren't screwing up
something by pulling these magnets out?
