I gave up on the epoxy pump for the reason you mentioned. Inconsistent
output from two pumps, one being the warranty replacement for the
other. I now use a beam balance and every batch is perfect.  It takes
a minute longer, but then I get that minute back and more at night since
I sleep better.

I believe only destructive testing would tell you if a part WAS ok or
not.
