If that is the case, a change in the adhesive = use at the work shop, at least up to this point, would have had no = effect on the number of failures. I would be interesting to know if = there has been any failures in the fast build doors that have been = available for the last few years. Has Lancair changed the type of = adhesive used on the fast build door? Have the window/doors that have = failed had the (ugly) area washers on the upper portion of the door = removed or countersunk to improve the aesthetics of the door? I would = rather have the problem address rather than limiting the pressure = differential. Its sort of like having a 300 kt airplane that you only = fly at 250 kts.
