I used a SW 8432R on my RV8. I have an O-360 souped up by Lycon to 223 HP, and never see temps above 180 degrees flying in the southwest. It is mounted on the rear engine baffle the same as yours (plenum system). The larger pan will just mean it takes a little longer to get to the same temperature.
