I have installed a modified version of Chucks cowls on
my angle-valve 360.  It certainly looks nice without the
bottom bump. That said, I'm not sure I saw
much, if any, speed increase.  Maybe a knot.  I used
to have tons of bumps and bulges on my old cowl -- I
called it my Test Mule.  I had 2 big air scoops
and the bottom bulge.  I found that the two air scoops,
when removed, gave me a speed increase of 2 knots each.  
When I removed the bottom bulge
(effectively relocating the air intake) I saw virtually
no difference in speed.   But I do like the looks.  The
other scoops resulted in speed increases probably
more because of the fact that the air intake was ELIMINATED
as opposed to just moving it.
