Great to hear about your aileron fix. I have the same problem but only in the air. On the ground, the ailerons feel fine. I am planning to install aileron gap seals because the fit of the ailerons leaves something to be desired. The thickness of the front of the ailerons is slightly larger than the wing so if you sight down the wing from the leading edge back, you can see a slight aileron bulge which I suspect is causing my problem. If the gap seals dont reduce the problem, I will attempt to add material to the wing to cause a smoother transition from the wing to the aileron.
Can you tell me exactly where you removed "spacing washers" to increase the play in your ailerons. I was a little confused by your description. How much play do you have in your ailerons and where do you measure it. Thanks,Appreciate the help. Bill Hogarty
