Assuming all things are equal, the only ways that the door could start
to close if hoses are incorrectly connected or something is allowing the door
valve (activated by the physical up position of the main gear) to pass
hydraulic fluid to the door actuator (stuck partially closed, lube it and exercise it
with your thumb). Could be a dirt particle holding the valve open.
Perhaps this could happen with air in the system. Run the
hydraulic pump with the dump valve open and the gear down for a minute. Then,
manually lift the gear and close the doors and run the pump again with the dump
valve open. This procedure should remove a great deal of air from the
system. Maybe you should do this twice.
