Has anyone done a weight comparison of the Nippendenso style
35/40 amp and 60 amp alternators?
I know there is a noticeable physical size difference, so there must be a
weight difference also.
I'd like to know how much weight I saved by using the 35/40 amp
unit. If it is a couple of pounds, then I know that it is that much
less I have to lose on the next diet and still come out even.
Once built, saving a few pounds somewhere on a 1,000 to 1,100 pound
LNC2 is hard to accomplish. So, I wear shorts, 'flip-flops', a tank top,
and get a haircut when someone wants to race.....but not in the winter.
