For Bill Hogarty--Bill, I'm the one. Talk to Neal Hall at API in Memphis, TN 800.950.0111 and tell him you want the rebuilt coupling-same as Bob Young- Young Aero got a couple months ago. Get him to give you the shop price since the regular price is a good bit more. Make sure you save the "core" to return to him. Its worth $500. Incidentally this is not a centrifugal clutch. The elastomer in this coupling is just fit into the housing tight enough to require about 250 to 300 in lbs to make it slip.
Ted Stanley also had luck with a fix on this by using a Lord replacement. You should check this out before API at: http://www.lordcorp.com/news/2001/tcm_gear_driven_alternator_checks.pdf
I made the tool per the TCM SB to check torque required to slip the elast0omer in the housing in case you need. Bob Young
