Attached is a photo of the A/C compressor on the rear of the TSIO 550E engine using the TCM bracket and idler pulley. Note that the battery had to be removed from the firewall and located in the baggage compartment.
Evidently, my system is not all that heavy at 2162 lbs since the only aircraft I know of, that was lighter was Dave Saylor's at 2150 lbs. Also, the C.G. is right on. I have also included a photo of the baggage compartment blower that cools the condenser which is located under the floor of the baggage compartment. I hope to be able to delete this blower if the NACA scoop in the tail can
provide sufficient condenser cooling without the blower. I have photos of the evaporator installed in the rear and several sketches of the overall system however my scanner just died. Will try to get them copied next week. Regards, Bill Hogarty
