The thing has numerous heads which I think would fit delightfully into the various nooks and crannys of Lancair construction. In particular, we're about to scuff the fuel cells of an ES for doping. It seems that this might be the perfect tool for such prep work. Additionally, it has a head which seems would fit perfectly into those 1/8" radius micro fillets in prep for glassing. I'm from the old school. If your fingers aren't bleeding you've not sanded enough for glassing. I was wondering if any of you have had occasion to use one of these small vibrating sanders on your project? Would you care to comment on the strengths or limitations of it's use?
