For John Barrett

I have installed A/C in my IV-P but have no data  as I have not added freon to the system yet.  (Maybe next month after the upholstry goes in.)

I use a small condenser located under the baggage floor and the evaporator is located in the rear of the plane where it feeds cold air into the overhead duct into the cabin.  Air from the NACA scoop in the tail feeds a 4 inch blower in the baggage compartment which is used to force cool the condenser .  This blower will be removed in the future if I find that it is not needed.

My system is fairly low cost as the most expensive component is the Teledyne clutch bracket mounted on the rear of the engine.  Except for the installation, I would estimate that total cost was'nt much more than $ 2500.
