Hi Jim et al

It is true that the lamba sensors get 'poisoned' with the lead in 100LL,
but I have been told (not tested yet, but working on the problem) that it
does not affect their sensitivit i.e. output vs. O2 content, just their
reaction time. In a car with unleaded fuel they are able to tell the
mixture of each cylinder at full RPM, and hence add to the control of the
fuel injection into each individual cylinder.

If you only want an indication of overall fuel/Air mixture for manual
setting they should be good for quite some time as their response time is
only reduced from milli seconds to mere seconds, but should be quite as
precise - I have been told.
