Hello Jim,
Yes, you can leagally fly in Iceland in an
experimental, but it requires a special permit. We have been actively planning
this trip for almost a year, most of that time has been spent
getting the various permits. Several cartons of paperwork went to Reykjavik
and lots of correspondance with their CAA before we finally got our
permit. Iceland can be nasty if you don't have the paperwork, I've heard
of at least one experimental plane impounded there.
