Martin Hollmann gave a seminar at San Carlos some years back and showed a video of the actual L-IV wing loading test. As I recall, the wind spar broke at a little over 9 G 's. This is the reason that the factory rates the L-IV at 4.4 G's maximum and a damn good reason to stay far away from thunderstorms. Regards, Bill Hogarty
