Recently there was some discussion about installing the weights on the
ailerons. I have included my pictures showing the process we used.
Basically, we mixed lead shot into a 7 pump epoxy / resin/ flox mixture.
We spread it out on the weight flap and super glued a dam to keep it
from flowing off. After it cured we shaped it using 40 grit and the
D.A. We then installed a 3 bid layup top and bottom. Filled the gaps
and divits with micro. It now looks like a completly formed part of the
aileron. It worked very well and turned out very nice.
