d. After a conversation with Ross, the device's purpose is to inexpensively assist those who never lean or do not possess detailed engine instrumentation (i.e. EGT) to properly lean.
 
I talked to him to see if using one sensor per cylinder (with a rotor switch for the display) would allow me to better manage fuel for best power and race power. The pilot would be the "computer" to close the "loop" in the system.  This is not the purpose of this device as noted above.
