John,   You must be reading our minds. We have the answer to both your questions,
and you will really like what we decided upon, especially the light
intensity and lack of drag.  Easy installation, and the good news..extremely
cost effective...and the best news, VERY FAST!

 At the Legacy fly-in this weekend in San Jose I will be explaining this new
MOD.

Wait'll ya see this one....no need for the landing lights in the wing (I
already have one lens cracked by a well meaning "friend" who tried to help
me push the plane and had his hand on the lens to push....I didn't react
quickly enough), sure wish I had this MOD before I popped for the
installation work and expense of the dual landing lights in the wing!
