My latest "Go Fast, Look Good" modification is now complete.
I have included pics for your review. Testing is
not complete, but preliminary indications show a ~10 mph
increase at 1500 msl at 2500 rpm and full throttle.
Even without the speed gains, the looks of the modified
cowl make the effort worthwhile. A side benefit of the
modification is a new full time filtered ram air induction
system with plenum. The 4-tube exhaust system is
required to make the new profile possible. It and other
necessary parts are available from Chuck Brenner at CHB
Aviation.
