Hi guys,

A couple engine questions for the group (this is for a O-290
installation in a 235 airframe):

o  Is it allowable to install more than one exhaust gasket
between the engine and the exhaust pipe flange?  I've got some
real clearance issues between the one of the pipes and the
bottom of one of the cylinders and a second gasket would be
   the perfect spacer.

o  I've got baffles wrapped around the bottoms of all cylinders
(to keep the cooling air in the fins longer), but I've found
no guidance on how much of the cylinder bottom should be
exposed for the air to exhaust from.  Any good rules of thumb?

o  And out of curiosity, how many of you have primers installed
on normally carbureted engines?  And if so, how many cylinders?

Thanks, as always, for any help.
