1) Anyone have input regarding AR-100 epoxy pumps either good or bad ? 2) Where can I buy one online ?<<
After having played the epoxy pump game over and over for the past several years I have decided that the best way to meter epoxy and resin is with squeeze bottles and a good electronic scale. I purchased an Ohaus Scout scale (300gram capacity, 0.1gram resolution) and have mixed gallons of epoxies (both Jeffco and Hysol) and more than a few batches of polyester resins and am a firm believer in the accuracy gained with the scale. When it comes to larger batches (more than 30-40 grams total) I will admit that the inaccuracies in the pumps are less significant, but given the large quantity of smaller batches required to build a Lancair, I get more warm fuzzies from knowing that _every_ batch is precisely on ratio, regardless of the amount mixed. Get a good scale and set your mind at ease. JTPHO. FWIW.
