A couple of possibilities on the ELT Antenna Location.

A. The "spare" VOR antenna in one of the wingtips.  Downside, the wingtip
may be removed in the crash.

B.  Mount it above the instrument panel on a pivot that would lock when you
swing the antenna up.  A little Red Emergency ELT Flag with an arrow and
Emergency Pull Up.  Add to your Emergency Check List next to Activate ELT,
so your alert goes out before the crash- - - -errrr, off field landing.
