Dave,

Sign me up!  I tried to interest Carsten in a similar idea a while back.  Adding baggage access is icing on the cake.

>Legacy Rear Window Escape

>Carsten,  I would like to run an idea by you.  To provide an escape path,
>through the rear windows, in the event of the aircraft ending up on its
>back.

>My thought is to make the rear windows removable from inside by placing a
>wire or .050 cable between the fuselage and the window when it is bonded in.
>With a handle attached to the cable (or two cables and handles to keep them
>shorter) I hope it would cut through the plexiglass or the adhesive bond.
>Or maybe a strip of .020 aluminum about 3/8" wide around the perimeter of
>the windows attached to a handle for peel. What do you think?
