Thank you all for your inquires.  This is getting great response!  Unfortunately this system will not be finished in time to get photos of it on the LML.  But when I return from Sun & Fun, I'll post them then.

For the questions regarding an ES & IV systems - The collector system itself is the same.  The pipe layout would be different.  The ES & IV system is next.  My dilemma is that the IV has a bump in cowling thus giving you more room.  ES do not.  I would like to build one system to handle both.  So that would mean building to the ES cowling configuration.  Perhaps then IV owners could get a modified, sleeker bottom cowling.  OR the ES owners could buy a lower cowling with a bump to fit the pipes.  I'd appreciate any and all feed back on this dilemma.

Now for some technical data...The collector system is 3 pipes into 1.  The concept came from that which they use for race vehicles without tail pipes.  A merge collector with reverse-cone megaphone is what is used.  We had to come up with a specific formula for the collector experts to make the perfect length system.  We supplied them full data on the engine and flow balance charts from the flow bench.  Keeping all of our pipes under cowling was a challenge.  We feel strongly that we have the best system out there for the Legacy and hope to repeat it for other non turbo Lancair aircraft's.
