'Tis best to say we speak American here, a dialect of the English language, well sprinkled with colloquialisms and regional idiomatic usuage. At least the written language is universally understood, unless set to ink by lawyers or the FAA. However, I have yet to fly thru Chattanooga Approach and understand a word said.
