Ummm, some good suggestions on relocating phenolic blocks, trimming actuator
rods, etc, BUT...

Wouldn't it be a whole lot simpler to just make a new pair of aluminum
brackets?  After all, the pivot bolt does *not* need to be centered on the
bracket attach bolts.
