I am having great trouble with the Matco nose gear hyd. cyl.
As you can see, with the cyl. (and rod end threads) bottomed out, the
upper brackets are way off the phenolic insert. I use the F45-19 rod end
(seems right).
I have rechecked the pivot pin location, and it corresponds with the
drawing on page 5-44. There is no trouble with the gas strut.
Do I grind off the phenolic block and install a new on farther aft???
What am I mssing here???
