I used the DH 400 hose for our brakes and am extreemly happy I did so.
There are standard lengths which will do the job if routed as I did.  The
hardest part is pressing the gear leg out of the swivel to route the hoses.
I used a 40 ton press.
Getting down into the bottom of the "ankle" to install the proper fitting is
hard, too.  I needed to butcher some 1/4" socket bits to do that job.  In my
estimation there is now only a very slim chance of brake failure in our
aircraft and that would be due to a cylinder failure.  The airplane is so
valuable that this mod should be seriously considered.
