What is that I see on the wing near the root?  A light?  Can I have more
detail?

Also, I have two external antennas I'm installing in my ES.  The transponder
is located under the left rear seat and the second com is centered ahead of
the front seat.  I saw a picture someplace of a legacy (I think) that had
the antennas recessed in the fuselage and I really liked the looks.  Are the
locations I picked reasonable?  I hope so, since I already have the ground
planes installed.  Also, if I were to recess them how much do I have to
reinforce the fuselage?  I was thinking about a 2-BID that goes out about 3
inches and another 2-BID that goes out about 1.5 inches.  I already have
that area primed so I have sand off the primer before bonding - does the
remaining primer in the pores reduce the bond strength?
