I can't believe Lancairs are selling under $80K unless they have no instruments or are 'untested' (low time). As we all know, it takes at least $100K to build one (san's labor). I'm not selling mine cheap either. As for the buyers, I would say IFR and alot of high performance time are minimums. Getting a sign off in a Lancair is unrealistic. Any well qualified pilot can transition. And as the seller said, selling to low time pilots (or Cessna pilots, ha) with cash, is asking for trouble. Regards, D. Story, ATP LNC2 TPA
