I did expect a lot of turbulence without the doors but I just remembered that the condenser for my air conditioner is mounted under the baggage floor and the connections would be exposed to considerable buffeting without the doors. When considering the price of freon 12 today, there wasnt much left to discuss. Flight # 3 will be to evaluate the new door construction; sometime soon, I hope.
