This power system would be a fantastic redundant system for or present
configured birds.  Why if you have an engine failure, heaven forbid on the
upwind you could turn on the emergency switch and it would take over and
allow a safe powered landing or  you could just continue on your trans
pacific flight.  Also if one of those turboed twins try smoking your tail or
you are on approach ahead of a 727 just flip the switch and have dual power
outputs.  Great for racing as well.
