I thought you guys would appreciate a slightly different approach to the gear door sliders. This is my plane. It hasn't flown, but the retraction sequence works well on jacks. The sliders were modified to eliminate side loads on the main element as well as to assist in opening the door. The gap between the two right angle elements is 2 inches. I used 1/4" Delrin. This was before Lancair started supplying the thicker material.
And just to make you all drool on your keyboards... my engine and prop (American Eagle 540 and Aero Composites Prop) Blame the shop mess on Marv. But he gets paid for making it...
