I did it. It has worked historically. Is it overkill? Does it matter? Only
you can decide. I for one built this airplane for two reasons. First to
learn by doing and building a flying machine and second. To fly. It
certainly cannot hurt and it may improve your machine. This is one of those
"attention to details" that make your plane a better machine.
I have one question. Anodizing does provide protection vs bare aluminum.
But one must be concerned about corrosion, especially that corrosion you
cannot see from the inside of a tube.
